Kadient Delivers One Click to Relevant and Personalized Sales Content

New features drive improved sales performance by speeding content delivery to sales people

NASHUA, N.H. – May 29, 2008 – Companies using Kadient's on-demand sales knowledge application to improve sales performance can now give sales people one-click access to the sales content and messages they need to have better interactions with buyers.

Kadient’s customers are always looking for ways to make life easier for sales people, so they can spend less time hunting for information and more time communicating value messages to customers. Kadient responded to customer requests for more "gadgets" for the inciteKnowledge home page. These gadgets give easy access to the sales content and actions each sales person is most likely to need, right from their home page. A new gadget brings the most recently added sales content to the sales person’s attention, reducing the need to blast out emails that are rarely read by people in the field. Other gadgets display a user's favorite sales tools that they have flagged for easy access. The “I want to” gadget provides shortcuts to the tasks that sales people perform most frequently, helping them easily prepare for sales calls, assemble customer-facing materials, and respond to questions from prospects.

inciteKnowledge customers shared their feedback and impressions about the new features. Ron Nagel of Experian stated, "With the new features, inciteKnowledge more efficiently drives users to relevant, reusable content, which helps them be more effective when presenting Experian’s products and services to customers."

"So many of the items we asked about and offered suggestions for will be improved with this release," said Debra Cook of Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP. “I appreciate Kadient's responsiveness in helping us address the needs of our user community.”

In addition to the gadgets, this release contains more than 30 features requested by customers to make it even easier for sales people to search for, review, and use information they need for their current selling situation:

  • Sales people save valuable time when searching for content, as the inciteKnowledge search box suggests search phrases based on terms that have garnered results previously.
  • Sales people who frequently use the same pieces of content can jump to it instantly by entering the record number.
  • Personalizing information for the needs of each buyer just got easier. When content owners create pre-defined templates for customer-facing materials, they can choose to let sales people rearrange, add, or remove content records while assembling them.
  • When sales people are trying to locate a piece of information or research a customer question, they can easily zoom in to read the content record.
