VP, Sales 

Summary:

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to lead sales within the company that is leading the market in on-demand sales enablement solutions. Reporting to the CEO, we are looking for a Senior Worldwide Sales Leader with extensive experience and a successful track record in growing a new market. Lead the effort to create the model sales organization as you drive revenue growth and reinforce the company’s position as market maker and leader. We need an executive who is both a strategic/big-picture thinker able to define the go to market strategy and vision for sales, and a hands on leader able to drive implementation and ongoing revenue generation. 

Key Responsibilities

  • In partnership with VP of Marketing, define go to market strategy across market segments.
  • Develop and lead sales team to deliver exceptional, profitable sales growth and customer success cases.
  • Implement best practices in sales effectiveness to drive revenue growth and to leverage in our own selling process with prospects and customers.
  • Actively seek to understand the evolving market place, buying behaviors, and challenges sales leaders and sales organizations face. Advise the broader executive team of emerging trends, and apply this knowledge to strategy development and business practices.
  • Lead a diverse sales team including field and inside sales, and account management. Develop sales management to ensure effective leadership, achievement of goals, and prepare to effectively scale the business.
  • Establish partnerships with relevant thought leaders to continuously learn and reinforce our position as market leader.
  • Lead account strategy and forecasting.
  • Participate in selling activity in key strategic accounts. Travel to both coach field sales executives and contribute to advancing business in key accounts.
  • Foster cross-organizational focus on customer acquisition, success, and retention.
  • Create and sustain collaborative partnerships across the company –and breed the same throughout the sales team.  

Professional Qualifications:

  • 10+ years sales leadership experience in complex B to B software sales to line of business executives, with a solid track record of success. 
  • Experience in the Sales Effectiveness, CRM, ECM, or related enterprise application areas preferred; leading sales in a SaaS business required.
  • Evident passion for sales effectiveness and drive for company success; values and uses technology as a tool to enhance effectiveness.
  • Demonstrates outstanding leadership, having hired, developed, and retained top-quality, high performing talent.
  • Broad business thinker; understands impact and implications across all areas of the business.
  • History of stability and impact with previous employment; tenure in previous companies demonstrates commitment to stay with a business long enough to have a significant effect - positive change and sustained growth/success.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead change – re-orienting selling team to align with strategy and optimize market opportunity.
  • Global experience and global market perspective when developing and implementing business strategies.
  • Strong basis in sales methodology, and understanding of current trends in buying behavior.
  • BS/BA,  MBA a plus

Director, Inside Sales and Sales Operations

We’re seeking a self-motivated, high-energy, results-driven professional to manage business development, account management, and sales operations. You’ll play a critical role enabling our sales team, and ensuring success in the delivery of qualified leads, expansions, renewals, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience and a successful track record in software sales and sales management (B to B sales to line of business executives (Director, VP, and C-level)), including success in an early stage market.

Our core qualifications are top-shelf skills, solid work ethic, orientation to customer success, and desire to accept responsibility and have a visible impact in growing a business. A sense of fun and dash of creativity will put you over the top! 

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand our target market, target buyers and associated value propositions.
  • Enable, coach, and manage Business Development team responsible for prospecting and developing new business leads for sales, with a goal of conversion to opportunities.
  • Enable, coach, and manage remote Account Management team (based in Cincinnati) responsible for expansion, renewal, and satisfaction of existing accounts.
  • Measure and report results through Salesforce.com. Generate ad hoc reports as required.
  • Become a proficient user of Playbooks and Content applications, and apply these solutions to best enable the sales team.
  • Share and apply lessons learned from the field – about our target customers, solutions, and selling process - to enhance our success. Partner with Marketing team and others to refine our messaging as required, and develop tools to improve results.
