Client Success Manager
Summary:
Manage portfolio of 20-30 large accounts with a focus on ensuring pervasive adoption and tangible value achieved, resulting in account renewals and expansions.
Responsibilities
- Brings a solid understanding of the sales executive and sales rep personas, and applies that understanding to developing “trusted-advisor” relationships with key players in assigned accounts, as well as strategies for driving adoption and proving tangible value.
- Develop and apply expertise in the use and application of Kadient solutions to maximize sales productivity.
- Own account post-implementation:
- Build and execute account plans, accurately forecasts and manages renewals (including contract, pricing, etc.). Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Drive contract commitments to revenue
- As primary contact for the customer, manage resolution of escalated issues directly or by leveraging Kadient team (e.g., customer support, accounting, contractual terms, etc.).
- Determine additional implementation and training needs for customers and engages Client Management team to provide those services.
- Develop and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with each client account to surface and address risks, identify successes, gather business intelligence to feed strategy to maximize value (for customer and Kadient) and secure loyalty to Kadient. Set and manage realistic expectations with all customers, based on understanding of the situation, the customer’s expectations and business drivers, and Kadient’s business.
- Facilitate expansions within assigned accounts:
- Respond to, filterand qualify inbound expansion inquiries; engage sales reps to execute.
- Harvest contacts or leads for expansion opportunities; hand them off to assigned Sales Rep.
- Partner with Sales Rep and Client Management team to close expansion business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years relevant customer facing experience in an enterprise software company, preferably in the CRM, SFA, or business applications used by sales. (SaaS company experience required)
- Proven track record in successful account management of large account base (at least 20 accounts) with high customer success and retention.
- Grounding in sales methodologies , sales, marketing, and sales operations processes and supporting technologies.
- Proven success partnering with Management and Executives in Fortune 500 companies, and leading customers with complex influence structures
- Strong presence. Quickly establishes credibility through knowledge and relationship skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Outstanding communication skills – oral and written. Effective with varied audiences – technical and non-technical, end users to C-level executives, across a spectrum of functional areas (marketing, sales, sales operations, IT).
- Prior selling experience is a plus.
- Willing to 'roll up one's sleeves'
- Ability to travel up to 20%
