inciteKnowledge is made up of four modules:

Express – This web application for sales people, proposal team members, and others who need access to the knowledge base content is simple to use – so there is little or no training required.  Express allows salespeople to find and use sales knowledge in meeting customer needs for information, as described below:

  • The basic Express feature set enables users to search and browse the knowledge base and extract content out of the system for use in another application (e.g., in an email or an RFP response).
  • Add-on modules for documents and presentations give sales people the ability to collect, assemble and personalize documents and presentations from your sales knowledge. The ability to assemble either documents or presentations is licensed as an add-on to the basic Express capability.

Sales Assistant – This web application gives our customers the ability to provide guidance to sales people at the sales process level. Sales Assistant helps you define and model your sales process or processes and the activities therein, to help your sales people engage with customers in a best-practice way, every time. Sales activities can include deliverables created using Express, completing deliverables using any other application, or using web resources like Generate or OneSource to research customers. Any activity with a resulting deliverable (file attachment) can be assigned a review/approval workflow to shepherd it through the appropriate process to completion.

Knowledge Manager – This feature-rich application offers sophisticated knowledge management features that enable content administrators to add, modify, and maintain your sales knowledge. Customers must have at least one Knowledge Manager, and they have the ability to manage Word and PowerPoint content, as well as to build Blueprints and Form-driven applications for sales people. Knowledge Manager users have access to Express as well, so they can preview the experience of sales people.

Administration Module – This web application enables designated administrators in your organization to administer your company’s inciteKnowledge experience, including managing users and privileges, configuring your inciteKnowledge Home page, defining custom fields for the knowledge base, reporting on user activity and content usage, integrating with SalesForce.com and more.
