Reasons that inciteKnowledge is a good upgrade path.

1. inciteKnowledge was built with the sales force in mind, it is a sales tool.
2. Sales has the need to do quick quotes, the tools we are using today do not make it very easy to do. inciteKnowledge will allow sales to quickly (within minutes) compile a quote.
3. Today we have a client based software package. With inciteKnowledge this is not a problem because it is web based, thus reducing install and problem solving time.
4. If we deploy RFP Express to the sales force they will have to individually install the software and any future software releases too. If there are any issues, the database administrator will have to help fix them. inciteKnowledge can be accessed via the web, which will save time and reduce training time.
5. There is language support in inciteKnowledge; this means we can have both English America and UK in the database and, maybe in the future, Spanish. The translation tools allow records to be linked across languages.
6. When search is performed it can be launched within multiple databases. Today we have to go to each database to get answers, for example Q1 is “criminal searching” and Q2 is “give an overview of your corporation”. The answers are in separate databases. There is a reduced the learning curve for new employees.
7. Dynamic updates allow multipule records to be updated in all databases-for example, to change “XYZ 2000” to “XYZ 2007”, all other instances are flagged.
