POSITION: RFP Facilitator

JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent is responsible for facilitating the Request For Proposal (RFP) process for Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, supporting the Field Sales, Corporate Accounts, and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) organizations. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing each individual RFP / RFI, ensuring an accurate response in a timely fashion, as well as addressing non-technical issues in the RFP/RFI. This individual will work with the RFP Manager to determine current priorities. This individual will interact with Customer Management (Corporate Accounts, Sales & Service, and Customer Operations), as well as Finance, Legal, Leasing, Marketing, and Pricing Administration, facilitating communication and documentation required for the proposal. He or she will assign responsibility to the appropriate resource best suited to address the specific needs, ensuring quality and consistency in the overall documents, and will identify potential issues within the RFP terms and conditions. The incumbent will ensure the appropriate level of review and approvals are met prior to customer presentation, and escalate all non-compliance activity to their Manager. He or she will also support the development and maintenance of RFP re-usable content in the departmental database, with a primary focus on non-technical information. This individual will be responsible for maintaining this library, ensuring content accuracy and consistency in future RFI / RFP proposals. Finally, the incumbent will develop proposal materials and manage other RFP process duties as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
B.S./B.A. preferred in business or relevant experience. 3-5 years customer management experience, with an emphasis on project management, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must have experience working with cross-functional teams, and the ability to influence executive level decision-makers without authority. 2-3 years experience with GPO & IDN groups, contracts, and procurement process; ability to perform data analysis and make solid business decisions or interpretations. Must be able to multitask and assume responsibility for meeting deadlines and achieving process milestones. Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment; flexible hours sometimes required. Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Experience with proposal software and/or technical background a plus.
